This necklace is much more than just a piece of jewelry. Created in honor of JP Swartz & designed with his family, to serve as a reminder of a life that was lived so fully & was taken too soon. 50% of all purchases of this necklace will be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. A few words from his mom, Kelley.
“Nearly four years ago we lost a son, brother & best friend to suicide. We, along with many family members & friends, were left to navigate the waters of being survivors of suicide. This year we want to celebrate those that have survived losing a loved one. This has been a difficult journey and one that has taught us many coping skills. We have cried, screamed & pushed forward on days we thought we couldn’t. We have participated in suicide prevention walks, sought counseling & leaned on our families & friends to get through this nightmare. We want to thank everyone that lifted us up throughout this ordeal. Check on your friends/family regularly. If someone seems ‘not quite themselves’~ASK! It’s okay to not be okay. Research has proven that talking about suicide/mental health has proven positive. Let’s erase the stigma surrounding suicide. Should you find yourself or someone you know struggling with thoughts of suicide or depression we encourage you to call the suicide prevention hotline at 800.273.8255. We would like to thank @raw_rebellious for designing this beautiful necklace to remember our wildly funny & vibrant son/brother. We were so blessed to share his laughter for 20 years. We love you JP!
